Julie just completed her forth album, a big band/gypsy jazz collection of original music, entitled "Bohemian Dream Cabaret: The Mystery of Love In Paris," recorded at Davout Studios, in Paris, France. Arranged by William Austin and recorded in Paris's legendary Davout Studios, the album feautres Bireli Lagrene, Didier Lockwood, Jeff Hamilton and the Ron Meza Big Band. In July 2014, she presented the album in a live showcase at Le Petit journal in Paris, accompanied by the Ron Meza Big Band, featuring gypsy jazz musicians and international tango, burlesque and Swing dancers

In the course of her performing career, Julie has sung with The Savannah Symphony Chorale, The Atlanta Repertory Opera, and as a soloist in jazz, folk and rock bands, music theater, and in the recording studio.  In Savannah her gypsy jazz band, The Bohemian Dream Band, won the 2012 Readers’ Choice Award as the best Jazz Band/Artist in Savannah.

 

She has appeared at The Jazz Corner in Hilton Head, S.C., the Lucas Theater in Savannah, St. Simon's Jazz in the Park series, The Savannah Philharmonic fundraising benefits and The Kiawah Island Concert Series. In Paris she has sung with street bands, at the Swan Bar, Le Defender in Hotel du Louvre, and at Le Petit Journal in both Saint Michel and Montparnasse. She has recorded albums in Nashville at Studio 19, in Savannah at Elevated Basement Studio, In Hilton Head at The Sound, and in Paris at Studio Davout and Studio de Meudon.
